In celebration of Preservation Month, the first annual Showers Classic history themed trivia night will take place May 22. The event, organized by the Bloomington Historic Preservation Commission, will be at the Dimension Mill, 642 N. Madison St. Teams of 2 to 4 people can sign up, the cost is $5 per team member. Space is limited, teams must RSVP at tinyurl.com/showersclassic In addition to trivia, there will be stories from local historians and food. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with competition starting at 6. Proceeds will go to Bloomington Restorations, Inc., the not for profit historic preservation group serving Bloomington and Monroe County.
