ABOUT

Join us for the fifth annual WTIU Conference on Aging! This free, virtual conference will be held online every Saturday at 10 a.m. from October 1 to November 19.

WTIU is pulling together area experts and resources to help participants find the answers to many questions associated with getting older. Attendees will learn what to ask, who to ask, and how to make wise decisions now that keep their options open as they age.

The conference will include the following eight sessions: Medicare 101 (October 1); Thriving in Retirement: Reimagining Your Sense of Identity Through Life’s Transitions (October 8); Funeral Planning: Exploring Options (October 15); Medicaid and Protecting Assets (October 22); Estate Planning: Strategies for Passing Along Your Assets (October 29); What You Need to Know About Social Security (November 5); Planning for the Future of a Special Needs Adult Child (November 12); and Gathering Family Stories and Telling Your Own, Part 2 (November 19). Each session will include a live chat feature so participants can ask experts questions.

This event is open to caregivers as well as those who would like some advice on more informed aging. Register at wtiu.org/aging.
