American Rhythm Folk Ensemble is an American folk music and dance troupe from Utah, USA. American Rhythm typically tours internationally representing the United States at international folk festivals. (Recent international tours include: France, Spain, Mexico, Canada, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany and Italy.) American Rhythm is excited to be touring the United States in 2021.
“Folk” means people. American Rhythm strives to give audiences insight and imagery into what the people of America experienced throughout history through the music they played and sang and the dances they danced. American Rhythm’s 2021 show, “Family Gathering,” will take you on a music and dance journey through the history of the American folk experience including: an Appalachian Running Set, American Clogging, Country Western Swing, Charleston, a Groovy 1970’s number, gospel singing, a live bluegrass band, and more.
Doors open for in person patrons wearing masks at 6:30pm. The estimated length of the program is 120 minutes. The show will start at 7pm and will be broadcast virtually through Mandolin.
