Join Mayor Kerry Thomson and Margie Rice, Corporation Counsel for the City of Bloomington, for an open discussion about annexation and its impact on our community. This session will provide an update on the annexation process and offer residents an opportunity to share their thoughts, ask questions, and learn more about the city’s role and responsibilities in annexation.
The discussion will also highlight the role of annexation and regional governance in fostering equitable, sustainable, and economically strong metropolitan areas.
Mayor Thomson acknowledges that the annexation process has not always been handled well in the past and is committed to fostering transparency, listening to residents, and ensuring every voice is heard and valued as we work together to shape Bloomington’s future.
