ABOUT

AsianFest 2026 – Mosaic Traditions: Piecing a Common Ground

AsianFest 2026 is a celebration of the shared histories and diverse heritages of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities, within Indiana University and the broader Bloomington community. The event highlights the richness and diversity through cultural expression, storytelling, and artistic performance. Guided by this year’s theme, we invite all attendees to reflect, connect, and find peace on common ground.

Taking place on April 11, 2026 and organized by the Asian Culture Center at Indiana University (ACC), the event brings together AAPI communities from across Indiana University and the wider Bloomington area.

The program features cultural and informational tabling from 4:00–6:00 PM inside the Buskirk-Chumley Theater (BCT) venue, followed by a staged program from 7:00–8:30 PM that includes video screenings and live performances showcasing AAPI voices and traditions.

The events and programs within AsianFest 2026 are open to all members of Indiana University and the wider Bloomington community. We welcome everyone regardless of age, cultural affinity, background, or identity.

This event is FREE! No tickets are needed for entry.
