The Friends of the Library's Big Fall Book Sale is a fun, community event that raises much-needed funds for the Monroe County Public Library. This event makes it possible for the FOL to raise significant funds to support Library programming as well as to get good books out into the community at bargain prices. Volunteers can make order out of chaos by participating during set up shifts on Thursday, Sept. 12 or ‘make the sale’ during the event on Friday, Sept. 13 through 16. Volunteers assist customers, keep displays orderly, and aide the cashiers with check-out. Shifts are available throughout the day and can be flexed according to your availability.
