'Tis the season to get outdoors and Bloomington Parks and Recreation has many ways you can get outside and get active. Participants are invited to get Outdoors Day on Saturday, June 12 at the activity lawns at Switchyard Park to learn about various opportunities to get outdoors! Volunteers are needed to support this fun event with set up and tear down from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. or noon-2 p.m. Anyone age 16 and above is welcome. Contact Sarah Owen at parksvol@bloomington.in.gov.
