Christina Lockhartcreates hand-carved block prints with inspiration from her love of nature. The blocks are carved and then hand-printed, which means there will be slight differences in every print, making each one unique.
Sarah Nichols is an Indiana-born artist who chooses to focus on natural materials in her sewing, weaving, quilting, and dyeing practices. She also dabbles in pottery and printmaking, claiming that artists need hobbies too. Sarah’s work is heavily influenced by her family, her memories, and those small things that exist everywhere in the world that are tiny wonders to behold, but are often gone before they’re noticed. Sarabeth Noggle, is from Brown County. She says committing to a composition, patterns emerge and change or disappear as I chew my thoughts about who I am and why. All sorts of realizations and misunderstandings filter in as I work, the goal is movement and to be now, a quiet therapy, the same work as turning the compost.
Shiree Woodardsays My current artwork is an exploration of thoughtscapes- a synthesis of subjects I enjoy reading about such as philosophy, neuroscience, and the nature of being. My images have fragments of the familiar while presenting some imaginative possibilities. I invite you to wonder alongside of me and make your own connections while contemplating new pathways.
