Join us or donate to support us for this Knit For Food knit-a-thon! You do not have to knit - all fiber crafts are welcome. Sign up to join our team and garner donations / craft with us or support a team member with your donation for our work.
The 5th Annual Knit for Food Knit-a-thon is Saturday, April 5, 2025, and we are committing to knit for 12 hours straight to raise money for four fabulous organizations that fight hunger and food insecurity! 100% of the funds raised will be split equally between Feeding America, No Kid Hungry, World Central Kitchen, and Meals on Wheels. You can help us raise money for this important cause with a one-time donation or by signing up to knit! Every donation will help get food into the hands of someone who needs it. We will begin out day at Rebel Purl Yarn Shop (303 S Hickory Dr Bloomington, IN) and at 5PM we will move to our neighbor Ale's Ice Cream Shop until 10PM. - Please bring CASH for your snack/food/ice cream purchases at Ale's.
You DO NOT have to be there in person to join the team. Virtual participation works. And if you don't want to gather funds as a team member, please share our links to help out.
We will also be collecting food donations in person that will be taken to the local Community Kitchen.
