ABOUT

Who says that premiere features and shorts have to gravitate to the coasts? Middle Coast Film Festival believes that while water connects places, the opportunity of the Midwest connects people. That connection is what drives the films we all know, love and appreciate. Bloomington is proud to be playing host to this weekend of films and events that will draw local and national filmmaking talent.

The festival takes place July 26th- 27th. Over the course of the two days there will be four feature films, a series of submitted shorts and music videos along with networking and workshops for filmmakers and film enthusiasts alike. Day one of the films will take place at the IU Cinema and the screenings will finish on day two at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater. Blueline Creative Co-op and Gallery, The Bishop and Atlas will also play host to workshops and mixers.

The festival is still accepting submissions for the shorts category and music video submissions. Tickets and badges go on sale today: $25 for an all-access pass, $20 for a day pass, and $7 for a single screening pass.
