ABOUT

The Midwest Pages to Prisoners Project is an all-volunteer effort that provides free reading material to prisoners in several states in the U.S. By providing free reading materials upon request, they hope to promote critical thinking behind bars. From 3-6 p.m.on Sunday, December 16th, they invite individuals to join them in room 214 at the Monroe County Public Library to send books to inmates who've written in from inside different prisons in Indiana. Volunteers will have the books all picked out for you. You will help write the accompanying letters and wrap the books up for shipment. New and returning volunteers are welcome! Recommended min. age is 13.
