Reflections of Emotion, Paintings of Evalyn VerHey, a Reception at The Venue
The Venue is pleased to invite you to a Reception for the feature exhibition and sale of paintings by Evalyn VerHey, to begin on Friday, March 22nd, at 6:00 pm.
After a full career as a graphic designer, an art educator, and an artist, Evalyn Verhay is now able to devote her full time efforts to the development of her own art, and the results are spectacular. Her award winning paintings might be called expressionistic impressionism, or impressionistic expressionism. They are all vivid in color and suggest images, but also evoke emotion. It is that resonance which makes them so special.
Evalyn now divides her time between Michigan and Florida, and visiting family in Indiana, and painting everywhere she goes. She is currently represented exclusively by The Venue, and by a division of the renowned Xanadu Gallery of Scottsdale, AZ.
Our show, curated by Gabriel Colman, includes a variety of Evalyn’s paintings in size and subject matter, all at reasonable prices. Join us to enjoy a fresh new style and personality in the Bloomington art scene, and you don’t have to go all the way to Scottsdale to own it.
