Fall is upon us, and the trees are dropping their leaves. Did you know that the Wylie House Museum may have one of the oldest ginkgo trees in Indiana? Nicknamed “the living fossil,” the ginkgo tree species dates to 245 to 66 million years ago, which means trees like the one here at the Wylie House would have coexisted with the dinosaurs here on Earth. Come preserve your own piece of arbor history by exploring the unique features of the trees around the Wylie House and getting creative with waxing leaves.
