The Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington is pleased to present SMART Girls, STRONG Women! This annual fundraiser serves to support world-class programming for young females at the Club. This year, Boys & Girls Club alum Mona Dixon will join us as she recalls her miraculous journey. Until the age of 13, Mona was homeless and sleeping on the streets and in various shelters. A few years later, she was being honored by President Obama in the White House as she was selected to serve as a Presidential Appointee. During this event, you will hear Mona's incredible story, and how the Boys & Girls Club changed - and likely saved - her life.
