Cardinal Stage presents “The Great Gatsby’ September 5-22 at the Ivy Tech Waldron Auditorium. The breathtaking glamour and decadent excess of the Jazz Age come to the stage in Simon Levy’s adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic novel. Nick Carraway finds himself drawn into the dazzling world of flappers, bootleggers, and a mysterious man named Jay Gatsby. But beneath all the romance is a harsh reality that cannot be escaped, no matter how hard Gatsby may struggle to row against the current of his past.
