ABOUT

“You’re tearing me apart, Lisa!” Let’s pack the historic Buskirk-Chumley Theater for a special screening of 2004 cult classic, The Room, heralded as the best bad film of all-time. Since its release, The Room has become a once-in-a-generation sensation, referred to as “the Citizen Kane of bad movies.” Recently, the book detailing the notorious making of the film was adapted into a hit Hollywood film, The Disaster Artist, starring James Franco as enigmatic auteur Tommy Wiseau. This is your chance to catch it on the big screen the way it was intended to be seen… with a big group of friends during a night out. Featuring a bonkers plot, endlessly quotable lines, highly questionable acting, and some of the most intense football action in movie history, The Room is a crap-tastic masterpiece of WTF cinema that demands to be seen with a large group. It’s going to be a party, so invite all of your friends (“Good thinking!”). Or are you a little chicken? Cheep-chip-chip-Cheep-Cheep! The Room has been running for over a decade in Los Angeles and has now taken the rest of the country by storm. You'll want to be there for the devastation it will leave in its wake! All proceeds from the ticket sales go to support Cardinal Stage Company. The Room is rated R and contains adult language and situations.
