Did you know there is snow in the ocean? It's called marine snow and it probably isn't what you're thinking. Explore marine snow and detritivores in this week's Dive Deeper. To do the experiment with us, you will want a large flat pan (a 9x13 cake pan works well), a baggie of ice or ice pack and food coloring (any color you like). We will cover 2nd and 4th grade Earth Science standards and 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade Life Science standards.
