Jennifer Huston Schaeffer is the author of Mommy’s Boy: How My Doggie Soulmate’s Love Rescued Me and the owner of White Dog Editorial Services. She grew up in Michigan, spent seventeen years in Chicago, and now lives with her husband and fur babies, Ziggy and Joey, outside Indianapolis. Shana Ritter writes poetry and prose and pieces in between. Her chapbook, Stairs of Separation was published by Finishing Line Press. In the Time of Leaving, a novel of exile and resilience, is set in late 15th century Spain. Shana has been awarded the Indiana Individual Artist Grant on multiple occasions.
