The Community Justice and Mediation Center's 40-hr training lays the groundwork for anyone interested in becoming a mediator, learning about conflict resolution and restorative justice, or interested in becoming a volunteer mediator with CJAM. The training is led by senior mediators, Ed Greenebaum and Nick Philbeck. The maximum number of participants is 20. The training will be held virtually this fall via Zoom Sep. 9-Oct. 9. Sessions will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday evenings, and from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturdays. The cost is $300, but a limited number of partial scholarships are available.
