ABOUT

The Wylie House Museum features a large native and heirloom garden. Outdoor/garden volunteers assist with everything involved with maintaining an outdoor garden space - planting, mulching, harvesting, weeding, and seed saving. Plants currently growing on the property include Loofah gourds, Heirloom black cherry tomatoes, double red corn, native passionflower, coneflowers, and hibiscus. Volunteers are needed every Saturday through the end of July from 10am to 12pm. No experience is required, this is a family-friendly opportunity. Close-toed shoes and water bottles are recommended.
