On Saturday, April 15th from 1pm-5pm Quantum Day at Indiana University will be held on behalf of the Jacobs School of Music for an interdisciplinary effort in developing and educating the future quantum workforce. IBM Quantum’s Brian Ingmanson and James Weaver will be coming in person to IU Jacobs (MAC066) to promote their ‘Quantum Music Playground’ which creates and generates music from quantum circuits and quantum gates. As well as Oxford Professor Stefano Gogioso who serves as faculty at the University of Oxford in the U.K. We will also have a speaker from the U.S. Department of Energy at Argonne National Laboratory Tanwi Mallick, among other speakers from UT Austin’s quantum club, Quantinuum, UWaterloo’s IQC, our own IU students and much more.

We want to advertise and tell the community about this event since I think it will be very special and exciting. 3 people have primarily been organizing the event. Computer Science Professor Adrian German who is faculty at IU Luddy, graduate student at IU in data science Arpan Ojha, undergraduate music student Alex Alani.
