The University Club of Indiana University will hold its annual meeting and luncheon on April 19, 2022. The activities will kick off with a short business meeting, including the president’s State of the Club address and election of officers for the 2022-2023 period. After the business meeting, Indiana University president Pamela Whitten will join the meeting as the Guest Speaker for a short presentation followed by a question-and-answer period.
Pamela Whitten became the 19th president of Indiana University on July 1, 2021. As IU’s first female president, Whitten assumes the helm at one of the nation’s leading research universities at a time of record-level research funding and philanthropic support. Whitten holds a Ph.D. in communication studies from the University of Kansas, a Master of Arts in communication from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Science in management from Tulane University. She is an internationally recognized expert in the field of telemedicine.
The luncheon will be a served meal, with a regular or vegetarian option. The menu for the regular option will be: Rolls and Butter, Salad with Red Wine Vinaigrette and Ranch Dressing, Grilled Chicken Breast w/ Lemon-Herb Jus, Rainbow Carrot Risotto, Spring Peas, Brownie, and Water/Coffee/Iced Tea. The menu for the vegetarian option will be: Rolls and Butter, Salad with Red Wine Vinaigrette and Ranch Dressing, Rainbow Carrot Risotto, Spring Peas, Dill Salsa Verde, Brownie, and Water/Coffee/Iced Tea.
Reservations are $25 per person for members and $27 for non-members. Call the office during office hours (9 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday) at 812-855-1325 to make reservations for the event and to indicate the menu choice for the luncheon. Reservations are required.
