Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, the mission to Remember, Honor, and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 3,700 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad. Bloomington is blessed to have 2 locations participating in this event, Rose Hill Cemetery and White Oak Cemetery. This year Wreaths Across America is happening on Dec. 16th between 11:30am and 2pm, and they are looking for volunteers to assist with event clean up, particularly transporting materials to the recycling center. A large vehicle or pick-up truck is recommended.
