The Indiana Daily Student Housing Fair is a one-of-a-kind event that connects students and local housing representatives. Stop by and enter to win great prizes from local businesses, have some fun and explore your housing options.
Why should I come to the Housing Fair?
The Housing Fair is a great place to talk with local housing representatives. We feature apartment complexes, townhouses, condos, rental homes and more, the fair is the best place to see a wide variety of housing options in one location. Even if you already have a place to live, stop by to win free merchandise and enter to win prizes from local businesses.
When is the Housing Fair?
The fair is held twice per year, in the fall and spring semesters. Check the Housing Fair home page for more specific information on time and location.
How much does the Housing Fair cost?
The Housing Fair is a FREE event.
What locations/businesses are classified as vendors at the fair?
Apartment complexes, townhome reps, condo reps, rental companies, and any housing location representative. Various other local businesses and organizations have tables at the fair such as IU Student Legal Services. Any business that focuses on students and young people on the IU campus is welcome to have a table at the fair.
Can I leave my table unattended for situations such as bathroom breaks, lunch breaks, etc.?
Your table should not be left unattended. However, you can ask an IDS staffer to watch over your table for no more than 20 minutes.
How should I prepare for the Housing Fair?
The IDS suggests bringing handouts with information about your business, promotional material, or prizes to give away to guests. Feel free to bring props, balloons or other tropical-inspired decorations to attract visitors to your table. Have fun with it!
